Off-page is someone else’s site mentioning you. On-page is whether your page deserves that mention. Contextual means the sentence around the link is about the same thing as the page you’re trying to rank. The longer version is here.

If the title doesn’t match the search, the H1 is vague, and nothing else on your site links to the URL, more backlinks just make an expensive nothing. We check the title, the headings, the copy, the internal links, and whether Google can actually index the page.

DR is the Ahrefs score: DR 30 is $49, DR 40 is $79, DR 50 is $89, DR 60 is $159, DR 70 is $299, and DR 80 is $899. DA guest posts are $175 each on DA 40–80+ sites. Blogroll links on DR 70+ hosts start at $198 for 30. None of those use the $1 backlink rate.
